mehr (she/her) is an ex-climate researcher who left science to organize for climate justice.

she makes things and makes things happen—and writes about it along the way. 

she is currently in graduate school at the University of California - Santa Cruz pursuing an MFA in Environmental Art + Social Practice. she uses her research background to organize for Indigenous landback wealth redistribution and utility justice movements in CA. she loves: making bowls out of dirt, stone fruit season, people who are willing to drive hours for hot springs, and being at sea.
